I have been working both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, and it felt so good! I will apparently get paid on Tuesday, which will feel quite awesome. The feeling of getting money that you have actually worked for, priceless. So the place I've been working at is a small cafe/bar in Tamarama, about two blocks from my house (which I may or may not have to move out from quite soon, will keep you posted on that) The main thing about my job is to interact with the customers, which is a little difficult for me, as I'm one of the most shy people in this world, so apparently I will learn something from working at this place. As I've said before, it's always good to be thrown out of your comfort zone, which I will be again today when I go to do my barista course in the city. I've become so accustomed to our daily routine, it feels weird to do anything else. Speaking of weird, a guy I know form here is in Finland at the moment, which is crazy. Luckily, he loves the place, which warms my heart a little, that someone else feels like that for my homeland. Finland is cool, and Helsinki is the best city in the world.
Conclusion: it's pretty cool to work, appreciate it people!
