First Day In Efland

My first 24 hours back home have been pretty awesome. After a calm morning yesterday, I went into the city to meet up with Natte. The first thing we did was go to the bank, as I had to get some cash because I lost my card in Indonesia. Max happens to work at the bank we went to, and he seemed not just a little surprised to see me walk in. After this Natte and me went to Kämp, and I had a Maca My Day smoothie from the Jungle Juice Bar, which everyone who hung out with me in Sydney knows I've missed, and not just a little. We then went to Mbar for tea, and hung out there for a while. I hadn't even realised exactly how much I'd been missing my time with that little lady, she is seriously awesome. Natte had to go to work at five, and I was supposed to meet up with the girls at half past six, so the time in between I hung out with Max, who did some random shopping. Then Trilli and me went to Stockas klocka to meet up with Hanna, and happened to run into Emma and Chris on the way. Helsinki is small.
The three of us then made our way to dear old Cafe Talo, where we spent the rest of the night, and found out that one of the perks of knowing people who work there is insane amounts of free wine. We had a super fun night, filled with massive amounts of laughter, which went on much much longer than expected and the effects of which are still felt today. Vimppu and Sandra also joined us, and I was happy to be able to see almost all of my absolute favorite people in this country during my first 24 hours here.

Tonight I will go out with Sandra, Hanna, Vimppu, Natte and Linda, at least. Good times ahead.
