Since my last post our days have been filled with more of the same. On Tuesday, which was Valentine's Day, we spent the evening at home, having salad, wine and watching a girly movie. Blue Crush to be exact. It was awesome. Wednesday was spent at the beach, getting a sunburn. I'm not talking about a tan, but a burn. I felt like such an idiot after realizing that I'd been at the beach for 6 hours straight, with one layer of spf 8. I also discovered something that has made my runs so much more enjoyable, and that is that I can put music on my phone. I know, slow much? Anyway, we went out on Wednesday night, and got home at about 6am, after having had some fruit salad after leaving the bar. Always a good call.
I didn't want to spend that much time in the sun yesterday, since my back and stomach were still a little red, so we kind of just had lunch there. In the evening I went for a long power walk to Coogee, enjoying the music and the amazingly breathtaking views. I came to the conclusion that I love the ocean, and I love Australia. I ended this 10+k walk with a run by Bondi Beach. Not bad. We then went to Moo Burgers for dinner, and I had a gluten free lentil burger, which was awesome.
I can't wait for today's run.
I am also trying to figure out what I want to be doing in May, after Sandra and Eero go back home, and I'm left here all alone. I have a few options, Sandra suggested that I go back home (will not happen) but I'm more inclined to either just stay here and travel around, go to Asia or to the States with my mommy. Help will be appreciated.
Morgan the off-duty life guard got his Xmas present yesterday. Ta-ta faster Anna!
ReplyDeletewonderful! I might be expecting some pictures in the near future :) and I'm hoping it was the right size! I got a little worried after skyping with him and seeing how big he is nowadays!
