What I Did Yesterday

And today as well actually.

I did not just walk around on the beach holding Sandra's surfboard, I surfed as well. Today I had a major breakthrough with my surfing skills. I am happy. After having hit the waves for a while, we hung out at the beach with one of our roommates for a while, he was surfing with us as well. Then it started raining so we came home and decided to start a new blog.

I love my boardshorts, which you can see in that picture, but my rashguard is a bit big. As soon as I lose some of the weight I've put on since coming here, and as soon as I get a job, I'll buy a new one. Awesome news as well, I can borrow a board from our flat, so I'm not in a dead hurry to buy one, although I do want one of my own. One that will travel back to Suomiland with me come Aussie winter/Finnish summer.

We will head to the supermarket soon, to stock up on supplies (finally got quinoa yesterday, but forgot half of everything else I was supposed to buy) and then we'll go for a run later.
